This call is from a telemarketing / teleservices company, Meyer Teleservices:

I called the number that had shown up in my phone log, (202) 459-9004, and got an automated message that identified them as "Meyer Associates." The message also said they attempted to contact me on behalf of one of their "political, nonprofit, or business-to-business clients."  A quick Google search pulled up Meyer Teleservices, a telemarketing / teleservices company.

I just got a complaint frm a lady tht told me to google this number

i hate my job and think its wrong

some lady tried to claim i was on drugs over the phone
another told me he was going to kill my family
i mean seriously shut the [removed:lang] up

that's why we give you a hard time when you call -- the more you hate the job, the less likely you are to do it, the less people who do it, the more they have to pay to get the next person to do it, the more they have to pay, the less cost effective it is, and finally, after 20 million years, maybe we put telemarkters out of business.

Meyer doesn't care about their employees.  They can't keep people as it is because it's such a crappy place to work.  Being cost effective just doesn't seem to be an issue for these people.
