I just received a call from someone from the U.S treasury department, claiming to be working with the US. Federal Government of Grant at the Treasury Department in Washington, DC. saying that I will receive a grant of $8500 for paying my bills on time, filing my taxes and not filing for bankruptcy in the last 6 mos. I needed to call 202-436-9948 for instructions and give them ID# RZ124.

I called the number and spoke with Amber White  ID:44695.  She said in order to get the $8500 I will have to go to a MoneyGram to pick up the money/get transaction number after I made a deposit of $250 for security purpose (which is refundable).   She said just give her a call when I get to the MoneyGram and she will instruct me on what to do.

THEY PROMISE YOU ANYWHERE FROM 5000-85000 DOLLARS OR EVEN MORE! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO (SO THEY SAY...)IS PAY A SECURITY DEPOSIT IN WHICH THEY SAY IS REIMBURSED. WHATTTTT????? RIGHT THERE YOU SHOULD HANG UP. THEY ARE RUDE AND HANG UP IN FACES ONCE CONFRONTED ABOUT BEING A SCAM.

My husband got the same call, this time from Steven from an unknown number. Told him about the 8K the government wanted to give him for free!, and also gave him the phone number 202 436 9948, an ID number. He called and was told that he had to pay like $200. to secure the payment. My husband told him that if the government wanted to give him money, why wouldn't he discount the fee from the 8K he was going to get. The guy got so mad that told him "you are not going to get any money" and hung up on him! LOL Suckers!

They do not care about no one, I told them about my three kids, they still wanted the money, I still sent the money, but never recieved anything back from them
