Some guy speaking broken English saying he is Jones and he wanted to make a deal with me. Wanted information from me, Then I hung up. Got to be a SCAM

Keep getting calls from some guy who barely speaks English saying he's from the IRS.  Don't know if this was one of them because I don't answer any unknown numbers anymore.  Have reported the calls to the IRS but no help yet.

Got a call from this number.  Could hardly understand him.  Said he was calling from the "US Federal" something or other.  I told him I couldn't understand him and he said he'd call back later.  Called my cell.  Irritating.  Sounds like a telemarketer / scam call.

I got the same call. He claimed to be from the US Federal Government Grant Department wanting to give me $9000.00 because I had not committed a crime or filed bankruptcy . He was so gracious to say that within 45 minutes he could have than money either in my bank account or on my credit card. How generous of the government. At which point I told him there was no way I would release that information. He told me I better be careful about my tone because I was speaking with a representative of the federal gov't. When I reinforced that I would not be giving him the information but would rather be reporting his phone number, I got the wonderful title, you B...........
