I got the same call just now..asking my name and then poof cancel the call. Tried to reach back.. then says 'not on service'..

Same thing happened with me. Guy said he was calling for me, identified himself in an incoherent grumble, then he hung up.

Got a call from this number. Did not answer. I don't answer calls I don't know. No msg left.

The phone rang at 6:45 a.m. today.  I was still in bed, for heaven's sake!  Caller ID said "Delboni Chris".  When I see calls like this come in with a strange area code, what I've been doing lately is picking up the line, but don't make a sound.  Same thing always happens as it did this morning when I picked up.  I hear some automated buzzing and clicking, like the system is trying to see if it recognizes any voice to respond to, but since it is silent, the call is disconnected.  If it were a real human being on the other end of the line, they would probably say "Hello?"   So far, that has not happened.
