202-315-5366 called at 8:30 p.m. last night (10/1910); caller ID said "Share Group Inc"--this same group has had a multitude of complaints under one guise or another.

Last night's caller (rep) addressed me by name and said he was "calling for Unicef" (the international children's fund); I told him I was not interested, that I made a small donation to Unicef during Haiti's crisis and could not affort another donation.  Caller said, "...BUT THEY'RE HAVING A SPECIAL..."
(I DON'T THINK SO--a charity running a "special?") !!)  

This is heresy, and shameful.  I am also reporting this number to Unicef.

I FOUND OUT THAT ALL ONE NEEDS TO DO IS CALL THE # BACK LISTEN TO THE PROMPTS AND THEN HIT#2 TO REMOVE YOUR # FROM THEIR CALL LIST. IT CAN TAKE UPTO 72 HOURS..

I also receive calls from 5365.  I did not find a #2 prompt as mentioned above to remove my number from their call lists.  I did leave a message asking that my number be removed.

My understanding of the law is that non-profits can still make cold calls.  All this does is discourage me from giving to any non-profit.  Seems like it is counter-productive & a waste of donors' $$$$.
