Reported this was a personal cell phone, then said they were a secret agent from the office of justice and gave the address for the FBI in DC.  Tried to get $800 to quash a non-existent $650K federal warrant out of Spain?

elderly neighbor got several calls from this jerk claiming she won money all sorts of bs. Scum like this should be prosecuted! He has been harassing her.

I answered a request for a babysitter on Sittercity. The gentleman claimed to be working on behalf of a father from the UK who was working in the states for 2 months. Apparently this man needed a sitter for his daughter and wanted to hire me and send me a check for $450 to secure my services. I was given several phone numbers to return calls. The communication sounded suspicious so I goggle searched one number and found that it was a scam used to get sitters to cash fraudulant checks. Beware!

Received an email from "Red Bull" about a bogus advertising gimmick that would pay me $300 per week for having Red Bull decals placed on the doors of my car. I did not fill out the info they requested in their email, but still received a call from 202-280-7520 to encourage me to move forward so I could receive my first payment. The guy on the phone had a strong foreign accent. This is nothing more than a money laundering scheme that leaves its victims "high and dry" when their bank comes back for the money they have paid out on a bogus check.
