I received today two calls from 202-280-7316 claiming to be the IRS. The first one, an Indian dude with an accent I can barely understand. Then, a second call also from another Indian dude (but with a better English). When I asked him why people from India is calling me about my taxes he he hanged up the phone.Watch out this is a SCAM!

Like Rob, I received a call from 202-280-7316 claiming to be the IRS. The guy was indian and very rude, I was trying to have him identify me with something other than information you'd find by searching me up online, but he was unable to so it must be a scam. The guy became verbally hostile, therefore I told him he either had to identify me or give me an office to meet him at. I ran over to the local police station by my job and was informed that this is a very common type of scam around this time of the year.

like Rob and others i recive same call , the guy was very rud , i was nervoz  but the my wife went to search in compjuter that number and was the scame.I toldem my atorney is going to contact them and I hang up th phone.

They kept calling every 5 seconds! I was in the middle of giving a private lesson so my wife picked up the phone and said the person had the same Indian accent that left a message on our machine a week ago, only this time they were calling for her, not me. I believe it is a phishing scam.
