Caller said his name is Alan Freeman from the local Federal Funds Administration and is giving out to our local district in Bend 2 million dollars in federal funding from the second stimulus package incentive and anybody who needs money is required to go to www.mygrantfunds.com and they will recieve $2500 in cash.

Received a telephone call on my landline. Stating the same as list prior. Eligible for a share of grant money, receive, up to 2500$. All I needed to do was go to mygrantfunds.com. So I went searching the phone number, and it is a cell phone. Listed below is what I found out about the number.
Exchange: 202-280 City: Hyattsville State: District of Columbia County: Prince George's ZIP Code: 20783 Local Date/Time: June 13, 2009 12:19:23 PM COT Phone Carrier: Cellco partnership dba verizon.
Also, the website, which only has one page and you must & fill out click, to get more (I DID NOT ). The contact information is email. Listed as an organization. It’s sales pitch is; they are the go between, between Federal government & you. For Grant money. Please do not waste you time and give away your money.
If you looks like a scam, walks like a scam, sounds like a scam, it probably is a scam!

I also received a message on my landline informing me that Federal Money was being offered in my area. I must act now to get the money because this is a first come first serve basis. To be eligible for the money I must go to mygrantfunds.com. I checked out the site and it does have any information to confirm its authenticity. It makes you believe it's real by having major television networks logos appear on the site (CNN,NBC, and ABC).
