I received the call saying I had been selected to receive a $9000 grant because I had no criminal record or bankruptcy claims.  Told me they could direct deposit it into my account or give me cash.  When I said I wanted the cash, they began asking me personal information that the government would have if I actually was getting any money from them.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. A foreign speaking scammer that tells me that I have also won a $9,000.00 federal grant. I said "GREAT!" and she hung up on me. I must have scared her when I sounded like the fool that she was looking for.
