Left message about lawsuit against me almost sure it is a scam. I called back and no one answered.

Same place called me again this morning 6:56am; it didn't register as a phone call or on my caller history. They just go straight to voicemail now. Is there a way to stop the voicemails? I called them back numerous times to screw with them yesterday. I've blocked the phone number but it can still leave voicemails. SO ANNOYING.

So glad I found this site! It is Christmas time and I have been receiving 2 - 3 VMs a day from this phone number for the last week. I have been away on vacation and am now checking it out. Will delete and block this scammer! Thx for posting!

"female" recorded voice telling me the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me and I should call back immediately. IRS does not call people - they send a letter. Typical scam call this time of year as people are starting to prepare tax returns. 202-247-1239. I blocked the call and did not call back.

They left me a msg earlier this morning, then called again not too long ago. Saying that this this the official phone call that the IRS has a lawsuit against me... So I googled this #(202-247-1239), and thank goodness all this info came up!
These ppl are such a waste of time!
