said it's IRS.  but also it's phone scam.

Yes, this is a scam by people claiming to be with IRS.  IRS wants recipients of this scam to call the Treasury Inspector General office at 800-366-4484 or submit information on their website at www.tigta.com using red IRS impersonation scam link.  There are also fax numbers and physical addresses given if you call the 800 number for the Treasury Inspector General office.  They are trying to gather information to inform the public of this scam and to try and put a stop to it.

ME 2 THEY DID IT 3 TIMES 2 DAY kNEW ITS A SCAM  BUT TICKED ME THAT THEY SAY THERE IRS THATS 2 FAR,

It's a scam, must be using a new number now. Say they are the IRS and very vulgar.

Said it was IRS and not to ignore. Called back to mess with them. Line was busy though.
