Second time they have called -They say this is your final notice from the IRS or else they are going to sue.  Its a very robotic like voice.
PLUS - I've received similar calls from 206-743-9147 4 times (area code State of Washington) and 207-738-5788 twice (area code from State of Maine) also indicated that the IRS had filed a law suit against us.  But the number they leave for me to call back is completely different 917-829-8955.  I tried to call th number on my caller id and its a recorded message "that the number has not yet been assigned"  When I call the 917 number it's a Magic Jack Number stating "The Magic Jack number you called has not yet been assigned"  All electronica voices are the same except for the message.

Here’s how to know if you’re being lured into an IRS phone scam, according to CreditCardForum.com:

- The IRS usually contacts people about unpaid taxes by mail - not by phone or email.
- The IRS won't ask for payment via wire transfer or prepaid card, ask you to pay up immediately or use threatening language
- If you've been scammed, file a complaint with the Treasury Inspector General for Taxpayer Administration (800-366-4484) and with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov, using the words "IRS Telephone Scam" in your complaint.
