I got a call saying it's the irs. Scam.

Received a call from this number yesterday, passing themselves off as Federal agents. Having had dealings with IRS in past, this is not a way in which they contact you. On top of it all, it'seems to be a computerized voice. In the wake of this we are turning this over to the local IRS office for investigation.

I received a similar call on 10/8/14 from a guy with the Indian accent pretending to be the IRS agent with the IRS investigation services. He demanded me to send him $6,850.00 because of the miscalculation in my taxes from 2007 to 2011. He said the money must be sent to him within 2 hours or an arresting officer would show up at my door & arrest me & bring me to court. He also said that if the case does go to court, then the legal fees would be around $14,500.00. I came very close to send him the money with my bank info. until I talked to someone & he said it sounded like a scam.

Strange female voice said they were the IRS and to call back before they take action against us.  At the end, said 'take care'.  Funny way for the irs to end a call.  Thanks so much for having this reporting system.

Received a call from 202 241 7754 , it was a man with a strong Indian accent he demanded 8900 dollars to clear me of its scam, I told him I would contact my attorney  and I advised him to do the same, he then told that I can have the attorney  get me out of jail and hung up.
