Just Received a call from 202-241-7037. Party stated that they were looking for my wife and that they (he) was the IRS. The caller stated that my wife has not contacted them. I told caller that the IRS does not call people and then he started to belittle me and then the profanities started. I loved this call from the IRS (NOT).

I believe that this Caller is a hoax as they claim to be a tax collection service yet we have never received any tax notices via mail for county, state or fed purposes.

The biggest one going is the IRS scam, however, there have been reports also of county or state as well. Those should als be reported to the appropriate state agency's.

•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.
