Called saying there is a warrant out for my arrest that they were from the illinois state police. Called to find out what was going on and they tried to illicit personal information from me. I hope no one is stupid enough to fall for it but im sure someone will just know it is a complete scam.

I just got one of these calls-voicemail-and a text that said Emergency. What did the police say when you called? I am going to call also. Thank you......

I got one of these calls From a lawyer who said he was from the Fla state police. Hard to understand forigen language. Some kind of fraud...Didn't make sense. So I check the number online and found this of many websites on this.I am going to report this to the police. The number to call was 202-241-5084.
