This person claims to be a representative from the IRS and threatens the person he calls with bodily harm.  He provides a phony number that he claims is an IRS claim number.  He then tells the person they have to pay in cash immediatly.  The male sounds like he is calling from abroad (possible indian) and is unable to provide any legitiamte information on where he is calling from other than vague refernces to the IRS.  Hang up and report this call to your local lawenforcement agency.

And...you are correct.  Your caller is calling from an overseas call center,  usually Indian or Pakistani.  The government is getting hundreds of reports daily about these scum....scammers.

Got the exact same message at 3:15 with an Indian accent.He claims to be a representative from the IRS.I also got call from number 202-241-2216 today at 6:42 am .
