I get calls from this number occasionally and it's always the same message delivered by a guy with a thick Nigerian or Indian accent telling me I am in trouble with the IRS.  Actually, it's a partial message.  I get about half of it on my voice mail.  

This is not how the IRS notifies someone of an issue.  It's all done by mail. You can hear the other scammers in the background reading their lines.  Overall, it's a comic, if annoying.  Don't call back.

I received 2 calls from the same number today…the 1st time they left a message.  The gentlemen stated he was a police officer calling on behalf of a lawsuit from the IRS and that he wanted to speak to my lawyer immediately.  He also ended the call saying that if I didn't call back immediately, that he wished me good luck and the help of God to get through this situation!  What a hoax…I been recieving one call a month from these crooks.

I got exactly the same calls as described in the posts above, from the same number three times today. The same (cannot call them gentlemen) voice with the same accent and the same text.

I also received a couple of the exact same calls described above, however one was from a woman with a thick accent and the other from a man with a thick accent, both claiming to be police officers on behalf of a lawsuit filed by the IRS.

Same thing just happened to me this afternoon. He is giving me an hour to come up with $500. or i go to prison for tax evasion. the first one is from the woman on my voice mail. the one i answered from a man.
