Automated call - claimed to be from the IRS saying they were filing a lawsuit. Said to call 202-241-1551.  They must think I'm stupid.  One similar report on another website, so I know I'm not the only one.

Some of you folks need to get a grip of yourself , this is not a scam am sure, they save me from being arrested,  when I was in trouble with the irs . All I pay was 2000$ . And I have their next number,   7702720016stop make false posts , it's not good,

Yes, the shill count on 800notes seems to be on the increase.  I guess they think they can fool more people by making false claims on a popular site.

The "IRS Scam" is almost as well-known as the "419 Scam" ... but it is not associated with a Nigerian prince (grin), and seems to originate in a different country.

If you get such a call, and hear lots of noises in the background, the call is probably originating from the Mumbai RR station.

Yes, the Shills are getting more anxious by the day. Luckily they're usually as mentally impaired as this one here. I sometimes have to wonder how these Indian scammers can even find their way to the call centers...
