Non citizen, with a very thick accent, said I am being sued faor a payday loan though cash nst USA, I do not.  I filed a claim with ftc, attorney generals off in Washington, sine Jeff Anderson law firm is who conted me.  Do not fall for this scam.

OMG this same person contacted me Yesteday and sent me the following letter:

Hello Sir/Mam,

                          Hi this Jeff Anderson affidavit officer, working with FDCPA Department, This email is notify you that there is a serious allegation pressed against your name and social security number allegation are as follow:-

Count 1:- Misappropriation of Funds
Count 2:- Non-payment on committed dues
Count 3:- Theft by deception

there is finance company (cash net usa)   is pressing charges against your name, as you had an online internet payday and never paid it back in full,
There were six EFT's (Electronic Fund Transfer) got declined and you have found evading your payment of your pending dues,

So this is final notification email, to let you know that today within couples hours the case is being file inside the court, against you and all legal proceeding will be started against your name, you will be contacted by sheriff officer at the place of employment ,and this might turn into termination from your current job,

If you wish to get resolve before anything goes wrong against you or before you face any legal consequences kindly give me a call on my office number to resolve your case.

Now THAT has got to be one the funniest communications I've heard about in a long time!
A "Jeff Anderson" from an "FDCPA" department leaving a spoofed 202 area code number! The usual "charges being filed inside a court" routine is bad enough. But now these Indian fraudsters are trying to get "Sporty"! It is to laugh!
If they get any worse we might start mistaking them for Nigerians!

Now they're starting to call my job (Indian Accent) with a #916)469-6344..............  I know your not allowed to give Information if your calling to collect a debt to the person answering the phone.   He Inf me when I answer that there was a claim being filed against my name and ss#....  You dont tell the person answering the phone financial Information with our confirming that theyre the person your trying to reach.......  Grrrrrrrrrr Now I fear theyre going to start harrasing me @Work
