Received a call five times today from a Officer Thomas Jones, very nasty guy.  He gave a fake badge number and all. Threatened to arrest me because I owed the IRS money and because i had not filed my taxes since first he said 2006 and then he changed it to 2008 that I would be arrested without having the right to an attorney.  He said the IRS was using me as an example for fraud and for not filing.  When I asked how much owed first he said $2345 then he changed it $3546.  I knew then it was a scam and played along with him and asked for all his information.  He gave me the same number he was calling from the address of the White House and told me didn't have a supervisor.  He quickly got real irritated and hung up.  

A woman with a strong accent called me said she was a oolice officer and gave a badge number and I was being accused of a sex crime

I thought she said sex crimes too.

I have gotten 3 or 4 calls asking for my son by name. A man with a thick India or Pakistan accent, using two different names. He claimed he was with the Federal Investigation Department of the I.R.S. and there was a complaint made against my son and his physical address. He used the name Officer Gavin Johnston with phone number 202-241-0742. In another message, he said his name was Officer Steven Smith with the number 202-864-1365. I get so many scam calls on my phone, that I can't even answer my phone for any reason anymore unless I can see it is someone I actually know. I sometimes get up to 13 calls a day. They just don't let up. These specific calls were threatening, and they used my son's actual name. I get so many scam calls, that I have reached out to the F.B.I, the local D.A., and other federal agencies in an effort to stop all the scammers from calling us. I have even moved the phone to the far side of the house so I don't have to hear them calling all day.

•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
