I HAVE RECEIVED A THREATENING CALL FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER (202) 241-0391 CLAIMING HE WAS OFFICER SAM COOPER FROM I.R.S. A TOTAL SCAM!

we recieved a call like this as well. claiming he was an officer and wanted my mothers cell phone number. claiming there was a case filed against her

Received a call on 10/02/14, from a David Michael of IRS, claiming three charges were against me (?) but only mentioned last name, and not very clearly, and threatened to start proceedings if we did not respond quickly.    Seems like a scam to us.

These guys are such clowns!  I called them and gave them a fictitious name as well as my phone number.   I called from a line that was blocked in case they had caller ID.  The guys accepts the name and starts to say that I'm on a recorded line and that I made an error on my taxes for the year 2011 - 2012.  He said that I had two options, pay the IRS $975 or have the Sheriffs come to my home and arrest me and throw me in jail.  I mean really?!  All this time the guy on the phone had a heavy Indian accent!  I mean I had Nigerians tell me that they had a millions dollars I could inherit if I gave them $500.  I think that's more believable!  LOL  I will continue to call these guys back on my down time for some good laughs.  Nice try quasi IRS from India.... fahn-taas-tik!
