I got an email today threatening me to pay back a payday loan or I will be served with papers. I thought it was a scam immeidately when reading through the email. These guys clearly do not know how to use correct grammar. If it was a legitimate legal document it would be professional. I then decided to google the phone number that they were requesting me to call and it brought me here. Thanks.

202-241-0332 Is a Scam caller claiming to be with the IRS Investigation Bureau. They threaten you with jail time if you don't pay the fine or fee they are asking for. This is not the IRS. They are being investigated at the present time.

They sent me an email also threaten me with jail time saying if I don't pay the money they will forward it to the police department where I live I then know it was a scam.

I had also received a email, threatens to forward the information to my employer so they would take strict action against me, along with forwarding information to my local police. And when you call the number, just listening to the guy's voicemail you know it's a scam!

Also received an email threatening me with a huge lawsuit if I don't pay them a certain amount by today!
So sad. They mentioned they were going to notify my employee too (I don't have one, I work for myself).
I hope they get caught and no one falls into their trap (sadly, I am sure some people do! :-( )
