Got a phone call form Mr. Eric Matthews with the IRS (this time) saying that I have some financial "case" against me and I owed some $$$...Laughed and told him to get lost...He said that the police will be over at my house within 30 minutes...Replied back "Good, tell them I have coffee and donuts"...The Nerve of These Parasites!!!

This is a Pakistan or India based IRS scam. Do not fall for this.

The IRS does not initiate any legal action over the phone. Report it also to your local law enforcement agency. The scammers use voice over IP lines (e.g. magicjack (Ymax corporation). This is always against these companys' terms of use and can lead to termination of their contract. However only law enforcement can initiate the contact if you yourself are not a customer. Ultimately this is a case for the FBI legal attache in Islamabad or Delhi. If you are really annoyed: call or write to your representative in Congress. As these scams happen all over the country maybe this will trigger a reaction (and the NSA can finally be a force for good).

I just received a phone call from this number. It was as was mentioned a Pakistani or Indian thick accent and claimed his name was Joseph Clark!
Did the same threats with police and warrants etc. When I asked him if he talked to my CPA tax preparer, he said the IRS didn't do that! So I hang up on as soon as he said the police will picking me up in 30 minutes. The funny thing is I got a refund last year for everpayment. :)

Yes they are from india or pakistan becauae i got same call from them.at the end they used bad word,which is usally is famous in india and pakistan.

I received phone call from Jay Parker.he will send a police. I told him ho to hell.
