Just got a call from a guy with Indian Accent saying same thing about IRS, and said police gonna come and arrest within 30 mins. He threw some number around 1200 USD, and was asking all sort of questions. At first, being an international guy, and less knowledgeable about IRS, I got soaked up in the conversation. Also, those guys are bouncing with different other numbers like 904-365-8094.....

IRS Scam. Do not answer!

Stated all my properties, drivers licence, etc., will be ceased by the IRS because I did not respond to the previously delivered notifications about money I owed!!!!   Long story short, I did a search on the net for the # that dialed in - 202-239-6447.

I just got a call from this number. Guy with intense Indian accent knew my name and said that I have an arrest warrant pending against me from the IRS if I don't give them such and such amount of money. First of all, I'm married and file jointly with my husband, they would know that but didn't mention anything about that. Secondly, I know I pay my taxes correctly through our CPA. Lastly, I know about these scam calls. I immediately understood it was a scam. I told the guy that was BS  and hung up on him. Beware of these people!

The unfortunate part is that there are people that fail to realize that the IRS doesn't call people and end up falling for these scams.
