They told me if I didn't pay 12,000 dollars I would be charged because oh loans.

They called a customer of mine today claiming to be from the department of justice claiming he owed $3600 for back taxes.  Was very persistant and convincing.  called back multiple times claiming he was going to send out his officers to arrest this individual. Wanted him to withdraw the money from the bank and send it through a service.  He even calle back once with a     1-(911) number popping up on the caller ID.  Spoke with a heavy accent and would note transfer to a manager when requested.  Finally agered him enough that he started yelling in a different language.  Beware.

These people threatened to arrest my 87 year old grandmother. Call them back and threaten them. Tell them you are calling your DA or your local congressional representative. It scares them and they will leave your family alone. Fight this type of person with legal action and they will shrivel up. Good luck to all.

Your local DA or PD has no time or interest in tracking these guys to their caves in Europe, Africa or Asia... and would have no powers of arrest or prosecution if they did.

If you don't know the number - Don't pick up! If you make the mistake of picking up - Do not talk, do not listen, do not press 1 and NEVER, EVER, EVER call back. Not unless you want to spend $20 a minute on the call while they send an armed SWAT team to your door.
