First left message on answering machine saying he was from IRS and it was important to call...TELEPHONE NUMBER comes up as Washington, DC.  Called # and talked with him live.  Said the conversation was being recorded to make sure I was careful with everything that I was saying as it could be used against me. I spoke with a guy who had an Indian accent.  Said he was Officer Ronnie Williams.  Here is some of what was said:  IRS Filing Lawsuit against you/home/audit of taxes 2008 -2012 - errors-miscalculations - variance founds – Do you have attorney, you need to contact your attorney, mentioned Section 101, etc.  Even mentions the Attorney General's office. Gives you case number id, an officer name like "Ronnie Williams", a badge number, etc.  Could go to prison for up to 5 years.  Also, once the lawsuit was filed, my driver’s license would be made invalid.  Gave me another phone number to call to obtain instructions on how to pay, because he didn’t have that information.  FRAUD - SCAM ALERT!!!!  Now receiving calls from these numbers: 202-864-1122 & 202-239-1068 & 202-239-1431.  Also these names appear on some of these numbers.  Sammark Sandy & Jeff Mary.  BEWARE.  Dated:  9/15/2015

I got the same call today. He said all the same things and when I asked him to send me info in the mail he said " you have to pay 500.00 before anything can be sent to me".  Its a big scam. Do not respond to this number unless you want to get their info to report them.
