The caller did not leave a message

Had a lot of background noise and then they just hung up when I asked," What ?"

I didn't know who I was but I answered it.  In a broken English voice and a ton of background noise.  He it said that I have received a grant worth $7,000.  I hung up.  I called back and I got automated message that said "the number or code you have dialed is incorrect"

"I called back and..." are the worst things to hear on this site. Calling back to an unknown number can cause all sorts of problems. Never call a number you don't know. For that matter, never answer a number you don't recognize. Too many thieves out there using phone calls as tools to steal innocent people's money.

I called back to see who it actually was. Hoping to get a "Thank you for calling _____."  Never was going to give them any info.
