THey called me by name and said they were with ESPN magazine, calling about my renewal. Funny, since I haven't had that magzine in over a year. Seems to me they are a publishing house that buys names and numbers from past magazine subscribers to sell them additional subscriptions.

Called from National Enquirer magazine and said they were a supervisor. I said I had renewed my subscription already by mail and was not giving them a credit card or check by phone. They hung up.
