Some BS outfit that asked for me by name and wanted me to verify that the phone number (my cell number) was still indeed my contact number. Would not identify who they were other than that they were a third party outfit that would put in the request to the original company/party requesting this information - but that they could not tell me who that company was. Like... What... The... Actual... F***????

Got a call today, exactly same story as above. A third party want to confirm my contact info on behalf some company and don't know the request company name.
