I answer the phone, no answer at the other end then, the number hangs up. Then I call the number back and get nothing but a hang up.

Calls every 1/2 hour but doesn't leave message

Same here, this # has called for 2 weeks, almost daily, several times - like twice in the last 2 hrs!  Maybe I should answer it??

I keep getting calls from this number and have asked them to stop, i just reported the number to a government e-mail. any other thoughts on how to stop them from calling?
