Text messages from this number offer me a free, next version iPad currently in Beta if I am one of the first 1000 people to get back to them.  Dad always said if it sounds too good to be true...  so, I'm thinking if I do get back to them I'm going to get tons of Spam...  Anyone else getting these texts or calls?

No doubt it is spam, but what is their angle? Text message at 5:00 am offering a beta version of iPad 3, which pretty much confirms it is a hoax. But, what is their angle? Just curious.
