I've had 3 credit cards compromised in the past month, 3 different banks. I don't use cards in retail stores, only on line and I have Norton security and microsoft malware security but obviously I've been hacked. Now I'm getting unending merchant services and other scam credit card companies calls like these calls which of course I never answer. It's a disruptive, terrible waste of time and resources being forced day in and day out to look up 10-20 calls per day from scammers. I've been spoofed , recently, too - my email sent me an email and evidently I've also called myself from home from my own number - which is completely impossible. I haven't answered the phone in a decade and resent that i've been put into this position. I called Verizon today and demanded a new modem becuase there is a breach and I'm positive that it's due to a 2009, [***] DSL wireless modem provided by Verizon w/only WEP security back in 2009.
