I got a call today from that number.  They just hung up.  I'm a Sprint customer so it probably was a telemarketing call from them.

it showed up as "New Jersey" call on my caller id. I don't know anyone there.

Heres the info on 201-880-7641

i got a phone call form 201-880-7641 at11:18 monday dec 17. who is it and why are they making all this calls to people?

I received a call from this number just now. Someone called from this number a week or two ago and then hung up when I answered, but this time an actual conversation took place. I spoke with a gentleman who told me that records showed my phone was over 2 years old, which, as a Sprint customer, entitled me to a new phone with camera, bluetooth, blah blah. However, I'd have to sign up for a 2 year contract with Sprint in order to receive it.

So, there you go, everyone. Mystery solved!
