Got this call Jan 30, 2017 at 4:05pm. I didn't understand who was calling so I asked him to repeat it, some cruise line that ended with the word Seas. Then he said "can you hear me" and of course I said "yes"! It soon became evident that it was a recording because he was answering my questions with "uh-huh" and "I see" etc. that had no relevance to what I was saying. He said I could take this 4 day cruise for free and all I had to do was to tell my friends about it. Now I hear on the news, that they can bill me for items that I did not order and can use my "yes" as proof that I did. HOWEVER, I never gave them an address or a credit card# so can they really do that? The advice was to call the police dept., which I did, they don't take these things over the phone and wanted to send an officer out. I didn't want that at this time of day, so at my convenience I will stop at the PD and talk with them. What do you think? Will I get billed for something and how can they do that if I didn't give them any info?
