I was reading book about this sort of thing!  Next thing you know you are either in front of Congress denying you were a communist or you are being offered Koolaid in Jonestown.  I try never to join any organization that would have me.  Not a good sign, that.

There is a money transmittal service called Giromex. Google it and look for the business, you could call during business hours to see if someone is impersonating the business.
