Sadly Mr. Hickey is probably as much victimized by this as you are.  There are company's that sell a service called "spoofing" that allows the caller to pick what number, or information, shows up on caller id.  Some programs require individual dialing and others are programs that will interface with auto-dialers.  Kind of sad really.  Supposedly there is a bill in Congress that would outlaw "spoofing".

This company ( 201-842-8713) has been harrasing me by continueing to call my personal cell number to sell me a factory warranty on my vehicles. When confronted, they hang up. They don't stay on long enough to get the info to have me removed from their list. When you try to call them to make the request, it says the number is disconnected.

Repeated calls recieved about factory warranty on cars. I dont' have a car. Called back and got a strange scrambled beep with a message that says this number does not exist yet T Hickey (201) 842-8713 347 Roosevelt Ave,Lyndhurst, NJ 07071
is said to be registered under it.

Called during day.  It's a fraud.  I'm afraid if I press 1 or 2 option I'll go to some foreign country (in Caribbean, maybe?) where they can screw you out of long distance charges (this is not a new idea, just a spin on an old con).

Don't prs. 1 or 2, just hang up.  Complain to congress, try the do not call list - though I'm not sure if it will work on cell phones, with lan lines the do not call list does help.  I'm not sure of url, so just Google it.
