Same as most above, received call, which I missed and then tried calling back, Disconnected.

I got a call this today and they wanted to extend my warranty.  I went on with the call.  It ended up I was going to have to pay to extend my warranty.  I said I couldn't do that and the operator became agitated and said "she heard the initial conversation and the operator would be fired and both she and I would have charges brought against us".  She proceeded to hang up on me.  What Charges?!
I thought it was fishy form the start.  I suggest you hang up!

got a call- didn't answer. where's the profit in doing this? do they sell a list of the phone #'s of people who answer the call? has anyone ever sent these people money to extend their 'warranty'? if this is simply a prank call, there are some really sad people out there, if this is how they get a nut. it just absolutely makes no sense to me. but then, i'm not a lunatic, so, there ya' go!

yup, i got one of these too.  what's the procedure to report this?

Got this call roughly 20 minutes after registering my NEW number. I have only had this number about a month or so! So frustrating.
