I received a call on my cell that was an automated message, male voice with slight non-descriptive accent (understandable).  He said that he was calling from AT&T and that my U-Verse system was reporting an error and that my system had been compromised and that I needed to call back at the same number.  TOTAL SCAMMING/PHISHING operation.  BLOCKED THE NUMBER.

Someone just called stating they were from Microsoft, don't even have a computer. Stated I knew it was a scam and hung up. They called back 10 minutes later using the number: 120-176-8488

Called me three times  The first time I didn't answer.   I called back later, and was told that the line was not good.  The next time they called, it was some guy with a foreign accent, and he said something about problems with the computer.  I acted like I couldn't understand him, and he caught an attitude.  Finally, he asked me to log into my laptop, and I lied and said I don't have it with me, and then he went CLICK!   I had a funny feeling about him when I traced the number; figured it to be a scam
