Last month, there was a raid in India on one of THOUSANDS call centers there. Obviously, all just BS for the press. Didn really make any dent in the call volume.

That raid was for the IRS scammers, and over the past few weeks there have been few posts for the IRS scam. So it was effective to a degree, for the IRS scam.

I answered. There was a delay before the caller answered. They were selling a new electricity provider.

Has been calling both mine and husband's cell. Don't know the number so we don't answer. Never leaves a message or calls landline

Didn't recognize the number, no message left... Just blocked it for future unwanted calls..
