Guy called me and was acting like he was from windows. I called him out on his false info he was coming off with never heard from him again.

I got the same kind of call saying they were from Microsoft Windows...and that my computer had been infected..I asked him which computer, a he asked me how many I had, and I did not answer his question, and then asked what type of information had he received regarding my computer...and no response from him.

I just received a call from this number and also received a call back on 11/28 but did not answer it.  He stated the same thing that he was fron MS Windows and was getting information from the our server that I had trojan viruses destroying my data.  When I asked what he needed from me, he said he needed me to log on to my computer so he could help me fix it.  I said no thanks and hung up.

I got a call from this number on Christmas Eve saying that he was from Microsoft and that my computer was sending their server messages that my computer was infected.  He told me that he could help me fix it.  I told him I was not at home and I would call him.  He attempted to call again but I did not answer.  He called me today again saying the same thing.  I did some research and found that Microsoft rarely would call and say there was a problem with your computer and that calls like these were scams.    Then googled the number and found these comments.

1-7-14 I received a call from this number.  Same thing and other comments.  He said that my windows programs were about to shut down and I would loose everything on my computer.  He walked me through a few things and none of it was working so he said he needed to better assist me by gaining access to my computer through a site called TEAMVIEWER.com
That's when I became suspicious and told him I didn't have time for this and hung up. Glad I followed my gut-feeling and after looking his number up I'm super thankful I didn't give him access to my computer!
