Unkown caller and called back. Verizon wireless's message states that phone number has been disconnected and no longer in service.

I can corroborate Frank's post, as I called the number and received the same message. The caller in question is using non-active numbers to disguise their own, so beware and don't answer. They are only looking for victims for some type of scam.
