Received same text about Ipad 3; the unsolicited marketing is a pain in the *$$ that we have 2 live with; any ideas on how to stop them?

Received the following text from this number on March 31, 2012. "Apple is lookking for people to Test & Keep the New iPad 3! But only the 1st 100 users that goto http;//ipad3winner.info and enter code BETA will Receive it!

Received the same IPad3 text message on my cell. There is no such thing as an iPad3...

I went to the site, scrolled down and clicked on Privacy Statent. On the privacy, I scrolled all the way down to find a "Unsubscribe" button, clicked it, and filled in my phone number to remove it from their list.

You're nuts if you use the unsubscribe link. It just verifies an active email address or phone number for them so they can spam it even worse and sell it to more scammers. I use Google Voice and simply blocked this number. Never, ever, ever, ever use a scammer's unsubscribe link, or even visit their website which is likely to try to download malware on your computer.
