I received the latest faux insurance fax at 7:00 o'clock AM (usually they have been sent in the middle of the night!) and like everybody else, I tried unsuccessfully to find how to stop this intrusion. I found shads of messages that said others had received the same tripe.

First, DO NOT send these scammers any personal information by fax! No reputable insurance company would ever stoop to sending out such a form, and anybody who sends a return fax with personal information ... to an unnamed company ... is not very smart

My best advice is to do what I ended up doing, access the Federal Communications Commission and submit a complaint. You can go to their web site ( https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action?form_type=1088A ) and initiate Form 1088A: Junk Fax.

They have been faxing me Life Insurance forms as well.
I have recovered the caller ID which includes 253-212-9048 DBURMAN INSURAN

The number is bussy or reports (after many many rings) your call can not be completed as dialed please call customer service

Was the complaint to the FCC successful?

We received their crap fax at 4:00 in the morning!!!  It's very unsettling to wake up suddently to your phone ringing in the middle of the night!  I sent a fax back to them expressing my disgust toward their business practices and requested they remove me immediately.  I also followed their instructions to be removed at www.Removemynumber.INFO ... we'll see if either works.  I don't like receiving any fax blasts, but it really ticks me off when it's in the middle of the night!  "Stupid is as stupid does!!!!"

Never, ever, ever submit a request to remove through these "removemynumber" websites. Your request simply verifies that they've reached a valid fax number, and your number is then added to their lists so they can send you MORE crap.
