They are selling magazine subscriptions, and are not actually in the United States as the number indicates. They are calling from a call center in India. They are persistent but are very polite.

I dont know how you know that they are selling magazines, noone is ever on the other end! This is really starting to get annoying. What can we do to stop the calling?

Check your caller ID. Keep track of the numbers and don't answer. You will get used to it.
