QUICK TALKING AND POLITE AND PERSISTANTCALLER CLAIMS TO BE FROM BERGEN RECORD (NJ) PROMOTIONS DEPARTMENT.  OFFERS THURSDAY AND SUNDAY HOME DELIVERY FOR 6 MONTHS FOR A TOTAL PRICE OF $5.00.  I FOUND NO INSTANCE OF THIS PHONE NUMBER ANYWHERE ON THE BERGEN RECORD WEB SITE OR IN THE NEWSPAPER.

Same as above. I have been getting multiple calls from The Record and I asked each time to be removed from their calling list. Last time they called I asked to speak with the manager and the guy said "sure mam" and hang up on me. I tried to call back, but the call wont go through

Call the Record's circulation department and complain, but good, don't let them off the hook too quickly, this is an outside company they're using, and tell them if they call you one more time, you are reporting it to the State Attorney General's office...and to the Star Ledger -- called here a couple of minutes after nine, people know not to call here in the morning, scared the wits out of me.
