We get a ton of spam phone calls.  This was one of those ones where you pick up and there's no one there because it's a computer calling you.  The caller ID just had the number.  I didn't stick around long enough to get a human.  Reverse-search tells me it's a cell phone number in New Jersey but I'd have to pay for more.

Twenty seconds later, another call: Caller ID said: Cellphone CT, and the number was 1-860-3069427.  I did not pick up, they did not leave a message.  No reports on this phone number either.

I guess the scammers and spammers are branching out.

What is there purpose? Do they get paid to do this. We have a baby at home and the damm phone is constantly ringing. I shouldnt have to turn my ringers off and miss calls because of these "jacks"? Does anyone know how to stop this? I blocked one #, then I get another calling.
