I responded to a rental ad for a house.  The person claimed the home was theirs, they moved out of state for a job and were renting it out.  I was given the address and told to go drive by it.  I did so and was sent the rental application.  The person wanted all of my info and social security, plus a passport photo on the application which was to be electronically sent to them and them money wired, and then they would send me the keys.  There were too many red flags from this plus the person claiming to be the owner (using the same name as on the public property tax info) could not correctly verify things I saw which means they never saw the property to begin with much less owned it.  COMPLETE SCAM.
