Received a call from 201-433-1446 from a man stating he worked for "Tech 24/7" and was calling from "UK".  He stated that my "Microsoft protection software" was not working and "we've been trying to get it fixed for four days".  I politely thanked him for the info and hung up.  This is one of a number of scams where cold callers state that there's a problem with your computer and ask to take control (with permission) of your computer to fix the problem.  I've reported this to the FTC "do-not-call" complaint site.
