A male named Jordan called representing DISH NETWORK ,said our DISH receiver needs to be replaced for better reception and new technology.  A technition will come Saturday to replace the old one. We are to pay the technition 150.00 at the time of service by check or credit card.  "This will be reimbursed in the monthly bill over the next 12 months."
A call to Dish Network said customers are never contacted by phone except at customers request.

Likewise, a male named Jordan who spoke broken English, set up appointment to replace DISH network equipment. This is the return phone number. The call had DISH network's phone number. I got suspicious when he asked for money, then offered discounts on bill. I immediately called DISH to verify. DISH did not make the call. It is fraud. I gave Jordan my  receiver info. and pin number. Pin was changed immediately. Beware of callers who have Indian accents and speak broken English. Never kept appointment.

Same here.  Caller ID said "DISH Network" and showed the correct Customer Service number.  Got suspicious and hung up.  Called DISH Fraud Dept and confirmed, none of this is legit.   "Manager said his name was "Bob" and gave a 201 AC number.  Someone called back today, insistent on talking to me, an left this call back number.  IT IS A FRAUD

A male named Jordan, (spoke broken English) called to set up apt to replace my Dish Network equipment. He requested that my husband provide him with receiver information and PIN number, he stated that there was no charge for the upgraded equipment and that by upgrading we would save money on our monthly bill. He provided my husband with our address but my husband did not provide him with any account information. He wanted my husband to provide him my cell phone number, which my husband wouldn't do. He asked that i return a call to 201-431-8777 ext 550. I called Dish and was informed that they had not contacted us and our equipment was up to date.
