Automated message saying I was under investigation by the IRS and they had a warrant out for my arrest. People, please don't fall for this sort of crap. Scare tactics.

Automated message saying I was under investigation by the IRS and they had a warrant out for my arrest.  Called back and automated message saying phone currently not taking calls. Sounds like a scam.

I got the same call from this number saying the same as other reports about the IRS I work as a Fraud Analyst  and this is a red alert/ scam. It's been happening for sometime. Don't fall for it.  Report it to the Attorney General in your area. Most of all don't ever give any information out. Kept a close eye on your credit file, mail and bank accounts. Don't hurt to place consumer alerts to notify you when your information has been ran with the credit file company's The scammer normally target Senor Citizens and people who are easy by hearing their tone when they talk to you answering your phone I hope this helps!  Shame on the bums who don't want to work.
